We are honored to welcome Lisa McNair as our keynote speaker. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Lisa is the oldest living sister of Denise McNair, one of the four young girls killed in the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church, a racially motivated act of domestic terrorism that became a turning point in the Civil Rights Movement.

Lisa is the author of Dear Denise: Letters to the Sister I Never Knew, a deeply personal memoir in which she reflects on family, loss, faith, and the continuing journey toward healing and understanding. Through her writing and public speaking, she brings a message of reconciliation, peace, and love, sharing how her family chose compassion in the face of hatred.

Her story moves audiences of all ages, encouraging reflection on our shared history and inspiring hope for unity and justice in today’s world.
